Tuning Titan XS spring and guide questions (for HW97k)

I want to replace my mainspring with one from Titan XS. Unfortunately, I do not have access to a lathe to make a custom spring guide and top hat.



I found T.W. Chambers in the UK (www.gunspares.co.uk). They sell the springs, and also have what they call an "Ultra" spring guide and top hat.



Anyone have any experience with these spring guide parts, and/or this company? Or have other suggestions for a spring source, and spring guide source? Thanks.

T.W. Chambers is fine. It might take a few months for the items to get to you with everything that's going on. Check out Maccari Air Rifle Headquarters. He may have a match for the Titan XS spring you are looking and a top hat to match.

I know many people swear by ARH, but my current preference is to try the Titan spring. I like the idea of teflon coating on the spring (thinking that will allow me to use way less spring lube).



airgunspares.com has acetal spring guides and top hats (top hat out of stock though). Maybe that material is a better fit for use with Ultimox.
