to big for me

I went to the paintball shop to get my tank filled and asked about a compressor that has been sitting by the door for two years.Thr is a story behind it just sitting there. It is an Aerotechnia Coltri MCH-16. 7.5 hp 220 v

29.8 Amp 5000 psi max. Compressor can't be used in the paintball fields unless converted to gas engine. Owner would sell unit . Is this a good buy for four grand?

Considering companies like August Industries have sold refurbished Bauer Oceanus for $3700, IDK. I do know either is bigger than I need.

I have a 3.7cfm set at 4500psi & 5K possible. Would only need to adjust one knob. I baby it though. Fills my 44cf from 2800 to 4500 in 3 minutes and company recommends bleeding 2nd stage every 5 minutes. I didn’t opt for auto anything except hour counter.

I bought a coltri mch 13 used, only 25 hrs on it about 7 years ago for 3000.00 new it was almost 8000.00 I have 4 tanks 3- 44 cu. ft and 1 -88 cu.ft I can fill all 4 in about 1/2 hour. I've only put about 5 more hours on it in 7 years because it tops them off so fast ,usually fill from 2500 to 4500. just to give you an idea of long lasting, manual says change oil every year or 250 hours. mine is gas but would prefer elct. these are commercial grade. I think that would be a great deal. in very good shape would last forever.

I live in idaho and the pump weighs almost 300 lbs shipping rates would be real high. I would only prefer the elect. for the less maintenance thanks for the reply.

look into uShip.com. i used some years ago when i built a cradle for my grandson. it cost me $40 from illinois to colorado where UPS wanted $160.
