Does anyone make a decent top rail mounted bipod? I have the TRS rail on my M3. Looking for an after market top rail bipod that does not cost $300 to $400+ .

The bipods, just any doesn't need to be expensive. But up to you how much you will spend if the placebo feels better.
Years ago I bought a clone on amazon but never actually use these, I am a tripod fan.
Earlier this year I was bored and reworked the clone to a over the barrel mount:
Pictures from the time I was playing with the modifications, today is blued... and still I like tripods better.

UTG has one. I got mine for 160 on Amazon.
I gave up on mine recently because I did not like the knob used to tighten the cant. It kept slipping. I gave up and went back to the Accu-Tac. But after using the Accu-Tac for two weeks I took a look at the utg again. I removed the pin that stops you from over tightening the cant. I will try it again at the range tomorrow if time permits. I liked it except for two things not enough height and the cant moving around. Hopefully I fixed it but I got dumb and bought the GRS one, it just came in yesterday.
Here is the pin I pushed back. It is pushed in thru the knob.
And it stopped here on this small screw.
Here it is on the TRS system.

Oops, I was having too much fun at the range to swap bipods. Sorry here is a 
of it. Pretty sturdy. But it better at that stupid expensive price. Min wage must be way higher over there.
One dislike on the GRS (other than the price) is the locking lever for the cant is on the right hand side. It would be easier for us right handed people if it was on the left hand side.
