Lovely rifle, and GREAT shots!

My son got his first deer tag today, for opening this weekend. I am planning on an airgun with me in the stand for squirrels as well. Lets see what happens, now not an airgun but should be fun all the less.

Awesome work man! That's one of my dream guns right there, in 22 specifically.

I resisted buying one for a long time. Never doubted they are good guns, just had to get past the looks. But sometimes if you want set it and forget it guns, it’s best not to get hung up on superficial stuff. I can’t imagine someone being disappointed with one of these.

Finally got a buck but now I’m too burned out to start squirrel hunting. Feel like crap from too many miles into and out of the woods. I have three climbing stands to retrieve from deep in the woods. Maybe I’ll make it a squirrel hunt when I retrieve each of them. That will be three squirrel hunts.

Back at my camp again for deer gun season. Mainly to prevent trespassing. Decided to squirrel hunt the bald woods this evening. First time I ever did this with an airgun. Was a little nervous because of the wind and how far I could now shoot but I went two for two. They definitely are in their bulked up tough guy winter mode because both got blown out of trees and required a follow up shot with a slug. Might be done for the year.
