Tuning Tricks to Remove Stuck Air fill probe housing?

Hello everyone. Looking for suggestions on removing the Fill probe housing from the Air Tube. Aluminum housing with a Steel Air tube. Seems to be seized up cause it's not budging. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated. Tube is off Evanix Sniper-k. Thanks in advance.

Most important fully degass before proceeding otherwise it will be impossible and extremely unsafe to unscrew it.

Wrap that tube in leather like use a belt then put into a vise then proper sized drill bit smooth end as a dowel through fill probe fill hole use a long skinny metal pipe for leverage.

BOOM! Problem solved! Thanks!

Any cleaning agent's, lubes and grease you suggest for re-assembly and regular maintenance? Thanks again for your help.

As a matter of curiosity, was there any silicone lube involved?

I didn't use any for the removal. There was a thin layer of lube coating the inside of the tube and threads on the housing. plus lots of small debris inside as well.

Silicone can cause seizing of metal-on-metal in high temp or high pressure applications. It has become widely misused in PCP air rifles, which is why I ask.

A Clean Toothbrush (someone else's one and not yours).

Dont use silicone on any threads at all Ed's right about the silicone acting like a thread seizing agent. Divers silicone grease only on o-rings keep away from threads.

Mop the inside with a clean dry rag using a wooden or metal dowel or shower curtain rod or what have you.
