Well since I’m a single shot shooter I believe that 30 shots will last me a good while

I always carry a few extra tins in my ruck sack in with my gun and what I need to go hunting !

Move them from the tin to the lid, so you can grab them.

Yes, I also do that. It makes them much easier to grab.The answer is:

I use a pellet pouch when shooting now. Played 398 pickup too many times
When I get below 100 pellets or so I open a new tin and throw them in. The snap close lid has saved me many times.Upvote 0
Go to the ammo cabinet and grab another tin. Though it may be a bit tough to rummage through all of them to get the correct weight.

My pellet pouches are still packed somewhere here since we moved.I use a pellet pouch when shooting now. Played 398 pickup too many times
I should have probably added shooting from the bench.
