Truck Gun picture thread

Post pics of your actual truck guns. Mine is my HW95 in .22. A cheap Peugeot 403 Columbo paint job hides the constant dings I get. It has a lot of scratches too. I kill a lot of quail with this.

HPA -

I don't get it ! How do you maneuver that around in the cab of a truck ?

When you say, "truck gun" it brings up visions of gun's like Moe's (above), or my Lelya, or my Caiman, or my Uragan Short, etc. A gun length's that you can pick up off of the seat and aim it out either...window..."without" having to open the door to do it.

Truck gun - trunk gun IE- BEATER GUN.

TOSS in the bed of your truck or trunk of the car no worries of dinging or scratching them since they are busted up or simply cheap beaters anyway.

I have a super accurate (rather freak of nature accurate) Chinese B3 underlever too thats a real truck gun as well and it's condition got several layers of camo paint with scuffs everywhere thats so bad its too embarrassing to even take a pic of. It's likely the worst condition B3 you may ever see that Just stacks pellets into a ragged hole.

JUST ADDED-

DANG PICS DONT WANNA LOAD...

I don't shoot out of my car because that would violate hunting laws here, unfortunately. If that were the case, my Talonp would be my small pack and play. As it stands, my actual truck gun is the HW95 that I take to work and pull out at the end of the day or if I see some quail.

I agree with Odoyle’s concept of what a truck gun is. I have several but the winner is probably my Leshiy. Sometimes when I can’t find it, I have to remember to go look in the back of my truck. Hats off to the Matador truck gun. Mine was a safe queen. HPAman, chop that barrel down to 10”, recrown it and you will have an excellent truck gun. You won’t even lose any speed because it’s a springer. I did two springer chop jobs for my buddies when they were well tenders for a gas company. Way better truck guns than a $1,000 PCP.

Here's mine

TO5 Panther 34 in .22, 17.5 fpe thumper

Popped a pesky squirrel at the driving range I used to work at. He'd been getting into the rafters, and on one occasion, chewed a hole in the owners brand new dry wall ceiling.

I caught him coming out of the rafter vent just as I pulled into the lot for first shift. He very nonchalanly sauntered across the parking lot, but only made it as far as the dumpster -

.22 cal sortie. surprisingly extremely accurate with CPHP 14.3s @ about 700fps

Mine has been completely gone thru. New hammer (old hammers were too soft, would deform) trigger sear re-shaped (was deformed), entire action polished. New steel intermediate shaft (old ones are brass and break). New SS304 piston rod (old mild steel one broke) Some other things here and there.

Has folding stock, and QD sling

Haha this fold up rig is awesome. Even one of those arrow pistols would also be sweet keep in the front ;) like a pirate chasing runaway rabbits

Be careful of those short guns shooting out the other window. Also shooting your outside mirror. Ask me how I know.

Shooting your outside mirror? What were you doing, pulling a drive-by on a deer feeder?

The pigeon kept walking and I kept the crosshair on it until it stopped. Unfortunately the mirror was in the way. The scope was over the mirror and I was so focused on the pigeon I didn't notice. Only happened once. I don't have any short guns anymore. No problem.

@SDellinger I see. Focusing on your shot with the other eye closed I can definitely see that happening especially with high mounts. Initially it was difficult to picture a scenario that didn’t involve driving. Where I live people have been known to shoot at animals from moving vehicles.

Y’all have some nice truck guns. I’m enjoying this thread.
