Trying to Decide which .177

The stats say the XR is 22 ft-lbs
I meant the Sahara. Not sure why it’s 18, not 22.

I keep looking at that gun myself, in .177. If it just did at least 22fpe I probably would have bought it already. Since I already have a Sub-12fpe .177, I want the next .177 to be quite more powerful.
I love low and mid power .177, but if you're a fan of the caliber, you really should own at least one that's 20+ fpe. It'll put a grin on your face every time you shoot it.

Ya, its amazing what a 13gr Zan slug moving at 950ish fps will do. I set up empty beer and soda cans at 50 - 75 yards and the pop it makes when it hits is something else for such a small round!

Look what the brown truck dropped off?

First impression is I don't like the way it feels. The safety paddle is too close to your trigger finger.

Here is a picture comparing my .22 XR with the .177 XR

And here are two more pictures with my finger on the trigger with the .22 XR

I wonder if I could remove the safety paddle? I usually never use my safety on any of my guns.

That looks like the BRK trigger that rides on a carrier, kinda like the old FWB 300s. If that is the case, it should be adjustable for length of pull (ie, slide the trigger backwards on the little rail it rides on and it'll put some distance between it and the safety).
Thank you so much. I'm going to trying doing just that later on tonight
