Trying to help a AGN member in Mexico

I got a request about any airguns that I might have or know of.

The fella says he just wants to help put meat on the table and hunt Rabbits, Quail, etc out to 45 yards.
I don't think the language is easy to convey that even a Umarex Synergy that John Thomas just basically donated is perfect for that. I'd also add a scope and pellets. No cost to the buyer.
I don't mind helping those who're less fortunate than I am. I'm not well off by far; but this poor guy saved $400 and it took him a year.

He's looking for a HW95, R9, RWS 34. I still don't know if he wants sights, or not. Has a scope, or not.
If anyone has something nice they want to sell for $400 shipped or less I'll put you in contact with him.
I don't really have any springers I want to get rid of nor PCP's with a pump.
I'm just trying to help out here. He said it would have to be shipped to Nogales AZ and taken from there.

Edit update: .177 or .22, hopefully with a scope. He has to pay a border fee also.

Post your inquiry on the Yellow. There is an RWS break barrel for IIRC $245 or $250 over there. Model 36 it's a model 34 with a nicer no longer available stock. They sold for around $315 or so new years ago and has open sights.

Strange that guy is a MEMBER HERE and wonder why he hasn't listed it HERE?

OR Guns America $150 Walther Terrus if seller is willing to ship to Mexico.

Ok guys,

look. I would have gotten him something, like I did through John Thomas.
But I PM'd his only follower or guy he follows.

That guy, was nice enough to sell him a TX200 with a $90 scope all shipped for $350.00

I'm telling John keep the $50 I spent. I was explicitly asking this member if he's worse off than I am.
I live off a Disability income. It doesn't mean I'm stupid. In fact it's best I do what I do and keep to myself in the real world.
Point was, I might be lucky enough to have a few friends that send me guns and let me make $100-$250 a month payments.

If it takes someone a year to save $400.00 they're definitely worse off than I am.
I don't want to oust this person publicly as they're willing to spend the $400 but I checked and he's not in a "poor" district. In fact it's the 3rd well off one.
So be aware. I was considering giving up a perfect RWS 48 TO5 in .177 or .22. Not now.
As I did confide in some people, feel free to PM me for verification of him or anyone else I've dealt with or know.

In 13 years, if I don't know a newbie, I know someone who does.

Thank you 🙏 guys!

He has a wanted ad for complete PCP set up with pump and scope for $400$-$450.

That's fine. I told him just put an add for whatever it is you truly want. I'm gonna PM him and ask about everything. I'd sell my upgraded Discovery for $250-300 shipped; but not my original Hill MKIII w/ a bunch of seals.

Just remember he allegedly had a great TX200. So it sounds like he's playing on anyone.

There is nothing wrong with saying you just want to help put meat on the table. A TX200 or the John Thomas tuned synergy sending Kodiaks at 850 can definitely do that. Saying it again?

TX200 with scope was sold 10/29/19 so basically a year later, he does have $400 saved.
Hey guys, I'm NOT saying that the guy is no good. He may have sold the TX200 to a friend, or handed to a Brother.

I'm just pointing out I was considering giving away a gun. In my eyes if a family needs food, and he can hunt, I'll help him.

But I didn't buy a Alpha6 because I need to sell scopes and decide what I'm keeping. I haven't even ordered pellets or slugs lately. I'm committed to a custom build & I have to get that man paid in full.
I'm just saying there's a difference in what I'm reading & finding out.

I realize my addiction of worldly things has become accurate airguns, and gorgeous bows. Hey you think you guys are tough or mean? Try the traditional bow forums. UGHHH! I told the truth and said I can do 3-6" groups of 5 arrows at 60 yards w/ my compound; but my instinctual shooting is hit or miss at 30-40 yards.
They didn't believe the 60 yard groups. People jump and I don't want to do that here on this guy.

My point is I'm telling John to keep the $50 I was gonna maybe buy slugs with. I don't think the guy is in a mud hut with a young family.
Hey, my AVERAGE is honestly closer to 3" at 60 yards but there's times I mess it up. With my Tomahawk Diamond SS I've put 3 within 3" at 40 by snap shooting, and other times spent HOURS looking for an arrow in grass.
So we never know. This writing helps bring clarity to yesterday's issues. Every morning. This is my NA, my counseling, my peer feedback. It helps me think.

I would sell the guy a TO5 48 I was saving but I won't feel bad about charging him now.
Unless he really wants a PCP. I'm sorry guys but I don't know if I was being foolish, fooled, or a language barrier
