The match scheduled for April 12 will be an eighty-shot match! More shots for your money!
Sort of a warm up for the RoT in Arlington at the end of the month.
It will be twelve lanes, three targets per lane, two shots per target.
The forced positions will be the normal two targets per lane two shots per target.
The gates open at 8am
Practice at 8:30am
Shooters meeting at 9:15 and the match begins at 9:30
Other things to know:
As of this posting, sunny skies all day with temps will be in the upper 50’s with winds around 8mph SSE at the start of the match and be in the low 70’s with the winds around 12mph SSE at the end. However, as those who have shot with us in the past know the wind speed is negligible in the tree lined range.
Also know the gun club has done improvements to the FT range by putting down additional gravel on the access lane so with the most recent rains you should be in the high and dry.
It is suggested to bring insect repellent for ticks even though it’s a little early in the season for mosquitoes.
If you would like to help with taking up the targets afterwards, I’d suggest a pair of mud boots as the lanes will probably still have standing water from the recent storms.
