Tuned hw45 crosman 10.5gr

Id like to start by sayin Im NOT a pistol shooter. But Im trying! I used to use rws 7.0gr hobby for cans and plinkin and what not. I shot them on paper and realized I pretty much suck. I decided to try the crosman 10.5gr premier. I gotta tell you I was impressed! The tuning on it was steel guides each end, polished everything and handfit piston with minimal lube and trigger was done. The rws 7.0 hobby was around 560 fps after it settled down. The 10.5gr is around 465fps and much more consistent. Anyhow, check out this nice little group at 10 yards offhand! i thought that it was pretty good for open sights and offhand.

Good shooting, V.

I've said and written many times that as difficult as any pistol is to shoot well, recoiling spring-piston pistols are on a whole 'nother level of difficulty. I've also found HW45s more consistent with heavy pellets than lights. Heavies absorb more of the spring-piston violence and 'snappy' firing behavior than light pellets.
