Have an FX M3 Impact Compact

The tuner seems to not really be of any help on this shorter barrel.

What is your experience?

Shooting pellets.... would slugs make a difference?

I would wonder if a tuner has less/no effect on stiffer shorter barrels?
FYI I tried one on my 600 mm barrel and didn't gain anything.

I have the Impact MK2 .25x700 and the shroud integrated tuner works well, regardless of pellets or slugs, each with its own tune.

I also have a carbon fiber sleeve on it. So I guess it is pretty stiff. I took it off but haven’t tried it yet. If the stiffness creates a short barrel vibe I’m thinking just adjusting fps will get it tuning in the right direction!

I don’t think you will reap the benefits on the 500 mm barrel.
