Tuning an Air Arms TX200 to 12 ftpds

I've watched the videos and how simple it looks. I ordered a Vortex tuning kit and am ready to go to work. Wait! This doesn't look like the videos but it is similar. The spring is inside the spring guide and what I've seen, the guide is always placed inside the spring. Could it be a new design? Can anyone give me some insight on what I am working with.

I bought a used TX this week and it had a Vortex kit in it. The first that I had seen in person. It has the external guide also but inside of that there is the standard inside guide. Works like a champ.
