I recently tinkered with increasing the power on my unregulated 22 Mrod but before I went down that road I documented my original locations for the hammer spring, throw, and transfer port from their stops. A few days later I moved everything back to my original tune but my velocity was down by about 70 fps (717 vs the 785 that I wanted). I am fairly confident I did not miscount my original rotations from their stops, as at the time I was originally upping my power I did a quick check and went back to my original marks and they were right on the money at 785. After reading some more on tuning I see the gun should not be cocked when making HS and Ht adjustments. If I had it cocked while I was going back to my starting point, would that have caused this 70 fps discrepancy?
