Tuning tips ?

Hello I am still really new to the PCP life and I have read post and ads where folks have done some tuning to there rifles . But ! They aren't saying what kind of tuning they did : ( My question is what kind of tuning can I do to my Regulated FX Bobcat Mk1? Any tuning tip, videos, tools would be awesome and appreciated .

Tuning is only needed if you are not happy with the way your gun came adjusted from the factory. A high end gun such as your Bobcat should be excellent right out of the box. You should only tune if you want something different than what you have now. Generally people adjust for more or less power or for more shots per charge. If the gun is new to you I would just use it as is for a while, then you can decide if its worth the trouble to mess with it.

What is actually done when it comes to tuning can vary. Personally, I have yet to find a gun that couldn't benefit from tuning. That includes $2000 rifles. Tuning could include anything from fixing whatever known factory flaws or weak point of a particular model or brand to a full blueprinting to simply tuning over the chronograph and making needed adjustments to get the best possible shot string per the customers wants. Every gun has something that can be made better or improved upon. Trigger adjusment is probably another big one that tuners work on alot.

As an example, If I do a full blueprint and tune, the entire gun is stripped down to every last part. Everything is polished, needed improvement are made, trigger is set how the customer wants, barrel work is done, seals upgraded, and finally tuned for a certain pellet.
