Turkey Hunting with Taipans in Idaho

WOW…what an amazing turkey season it has been…first year hunting with the air rifles and they didn’t disappoint!…1st Gobbler was 20 yd head shot with .25 cal Taipan Compact…DONE…2nd Gobbler was 30 yd head shot with .25 cal Taipan Compact…DONE…and 3rd Gobbler was 55 yd head shot with Taipan .25 cal long…DONE!…couldn’t be more pleased with the performance of these guns!…can’t wait for next year!…now to chase grouse till end of year!…

wow, thats amazing,in Socal theres not many places to hunt and the few places we can hunt the Gobblers seem to know its their season cause theyre always spotted ONLY on private property., same thing with deer!

Woowoo @ranchibi let’s not let @vitals2k think he has TWO Taipans. The shorty is MY Taipan I loaned to him and this week I get it back . 


What did happen is that @vitals2k got hooked on Taipan using my shorty.

Thanks. I was just curious where the vitals are on turkeys besides the heads if one was to shoot them with airguns. Are they like chickens where their heads move constantly not giving you that time of window for a shot?
