It would be nice if you posted a picture of what compressor you are talking about. Well I google the name you posted and it shows a Yong heng clone type. Sure those can fill a tank to 4500psi but not many folks used those. Tons of folks have success with the original Yong heng. So why not go Yong hang instead of a clone type. But it's your money. If it was me I'd go with the original Yong heng.

thank you, i was not aware what's a clone of what. but you got the picture of the one i mentioned.

my question is about the pressure AND the volume, since my smaller now broken one's manual stated to fill no bigger than 0.5l tanks to max. 300bar. (picture below) i wonder what the maximum volume for the bigger compressor might be, since the advertisements do not state that anywhere. what is it for the YH compressor, that you showed here, @2fast2furious?

i also found the problem with it, the rubber ball in the air input check valve has turned to crumbles and of course the is no spare ball in the set of spare parts, so i have to improvise somehow if i want to fix it.

That smaller one you posted is a cheaper version of the nomad compressor. They are only for filling pcp airgun not big cf tanks. They will over heat and break of trying to fill a large tank. The Yong heng was the original compressor back then and other Chinese company copied it. Such as tuxing and vector. The Yong heng I have used to fill a 6.8l fc bottle from empty to full. It will take about 1 hour 20 minutes. Topping a 6.8l bottle from 3000 psi to 4500 psi takes about 20-25 minutes. If you are filling large cf tanks, just make sure to keep an eye on the temps and don't let it overheat. It will be able to fill any big cf tank but you must take breaks to let it cool down so it will not over heat. I recommend using for 40 mins to an hour top. Then let it cool down for around 30 mins and repeat to fill bigger bottles.

thank you, for the helpful input. is the price for the YH comp. that you posted the picture of 'realistic'? as in what does the original cost and how does one detect knockoffs? do you or anybody know?

Yong Heng isn't made for a bottle that large. Would it do it? Probably after taking many breaks. However, it will destroy the Yong Heng after a while. You'll need a larger compressor for those bottles.

They're made to fill the 90 to 100 cu inch bottles and paintball bottles. You can also fill straight to the gun, but there are more options that are better than the Yong Heng for that.

I mean, can you fill the larger bottles? Sure, but it's going to severely compromise the longevity of the Yong Heng as it isn't made for that.

There are many clones. They all work but people have many success with the original. The original will the printed yong heng on the side. Do some research b4 buying anything. If you doubt the yong heng just watch youtube videos. Search yong heng compressor and you will see many reviews on it. I would do some research b4 buying anything.

Yong heng are not made to fill pony bottles. Many folks good success with fill large 74cf tanks with it. Yes you do need to take breaks to not over heat it. Go search youtube, everyone is using yong heng to fill large tanks, not small pony bottles. Is yong heng the best compressor? No, there are 2k and 3k compressor. But for $200-300 you can't beat the yong heng.

As far as "authentic" YH compressor, the real ones have the metal i.d. tag on the housing from Yongiheng Co. Ask seller IF it's real or clone. I've had them tell me directly if it's a knock-off or not but that was through Amazon. You COULD fill that big tank with a YH as long as you did it in 15-20 minute max. run time with 15-20 minute break in between. After 1st fill just do top-offs from 3,000 psi. The KEY to longevity with inexpensive compressors is to baby them & remember that heat is your enemy! Keep them cool & they'll keep working for you.
