I did not notice this issue on my Yong Heng which has got a rubber diapham seperating the main part of the crankcase and the other part which is the space behind the crankcase cover. Oil can freely flow between the two parts via a small hole on the diapham near the bottom but the air on the two sides are isolated. With this design, the oil mist stirred up by the connecting rod cannot find it's way to the breather tube so the air coming out from the compressor at that point is essentially oil free.

After fixing hose leaks, jerry riggin a stripped oil drain screw, fixing a broken power wire this thing is pumping 1500 psi in just over 15 minutes. Happy with that! It was 97 today while I was pumping. I was amazed how fast it melted a gallon of ice, glad I have 2. It never got above 48. I also put a tissue over the oil breather and Mike is right there is a mist with no color to it.
