Twist rate for a Crosman 1701P?

I can’t get to it to measure right now. So - does anybody know the twist rate of the Lothar Wolther barrel in a .177 Crosman 1701P pistol? I’m betting all of the similar Crosman pistols have the same rate but I’d like to know what that is. Thanks in advance!

LW produce custom twist rate barrels also for Crosman

"RIFLING - All Crosman barrels featured within the Custom Shop include rifling, with 10 lands and grooves (1 in 16 inch twist). The Lothar-Walther barrel 12 lands and grooves (1 in 16 inch twist) and is choked. Rifling helps turn the pellet fired faster and straighter, which can positively affect both velocity and accuracy. All Barrels come complete with crowning through the Custom Shop"

I checked my 1700P/1701P and 14" Crosman Custom Shop 14" Lothar barrels' grooves just now, and they do connive with the statement above.

What is and what is the purpose of "choking a rifled barrel" Ok, I understand choke in the sense of shotgun barrels, but how is it applied in a rifled barrel, is it consistent for the length of the barrel or does it have a forcing cone area like a shotgun"
