Does anybody happen to know the twist rate in the 25 Cal and in the 22 Cal Airgun technology uragan standard? Also has anybody slugged there barrels and what is the measurements?
I was told: Both the .22 & .25 are 1:17.7 twist CZ barrels with a choke.
I don't know twists for .177 or .30. I do know the .30 Uragan is (currently) the only Uragan with NO choke from the factory....or so I was told.
I don't know if any of this caries over to the compacts....or Uragan 2.
I imagine there is a bit of a size range within each caliber. I get it. I'd love to have a good starting point/size too, without having to remove the barrel. But I think the only way to really know is to slug the ones we have. There is a barrel removal thread on here, and the re-installation is also talked about (I haven't been brave enough yet): https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/uragan-standard-how-to-remove-barrel/
The .177,.22 & .25 are all 1:17.7 twist. The .30 is 1:15.7 twist.
All 700mm barrels have no choke.
Outside of the .30, all barrels shorter than the 700mm are choked. The .30 isn’t choked in all versions.
All AGT models currently being produced are utilizing CZ barrels. There was a stint of Alfa Precision barrels being utilized for 700mm but that has stopped.
