@blackpaw, am trying to keep the foxes ranging through, the red squirrels have been in hiding since the two foxes have been around? Also after I declared open season on the Reds they have vanished from the backyard.

Thanks Randall. It was quite the brain fart on my part forgetting to load another round, squeezing off and nothing happens, cock the rifle, rat gone.Â
@backstop, that is one fat (photoshopped?) fox. The dead rats are just easy snacks, the foxes have to hunt because they would starve if depending on me. I did have a fat woodchucks head centered in my crosshairs at 60 yards. It gave me multiple opportunities, but I gave it a pass. It was munching voraciously on grass and oblivious to me on my back porch. I thought about feeding it to the foxes, but figured they are capable of catching that slipping chuck themselves.
@blackpaw, if those reds come with war, I will unleash my dog of war Riley on them while suppressing them with my Bantam. I believe they have sensed my malicious intent and are staying away.
