We’re now talking a week, no change. 

 Temperature has to have something to do with it. You would think a owl, Hawk or Osprey would grab it. It’s right on the shore in plain sight. Crow

We’re now talking 11 days still hung up but good. 

 We had a wind strorm 3 days ago so bad I still don’t have power. I have a 13 kilowatt Eaton generator that kicks in thankfully. Crow

Oh wow, that's weird! I've never seen one get stuck hanging on like that after expiring. Good shot though!

Here’s where it gets strange. I shot a Black Squirrel this morning, with TX200 .177 Hades. 25 yds. lung heart shot. Hung by nails for 20 sec. never moved a muscle. Fell 20 ft. hard, never moved a muscle for 30 sec. Done. Go get him within 5 min. gone, someone beat me to him. 
Oddly there’s one 40 feet above him still there for 13 days. Crow
