Got 2 black tree rats. 
This guy is still 50’ up, They both went up tree. The other didn’t land so smooth. Took them out with my TX200 .22. Crow

That’s exactly what I was thinking when I asked. I figured a cat or a hawk would grab it if it doesn’t fall. Is it stuck between branches or did it die hanging on and never let go?

Did you put another pellet in it just to make sure? I ask, because every time I have had this happen, the tree rat was still alive and dropped as soon as I finished the job.

Backstop yes I did. I wish I could see my first shot, I find the Hades very accurate and maybe a little dirty once it contacts. Crow

I've never seen a black one here. Maybe it's regional genetics. If it get one I'm going to tan it. Good work

I have heard quite a few people say the Hades is accurate. They were not for me. I have never found a .177 HP pellet of any type that beats a ~10+ grain domed pellet for accuracy.
And accuracy is the most important thing for clean kills. No matter what the quarry.

My 97KT .177 loves Hades. That’s all I shoot from it. What I really like is there’s a dome pellet same grain in JSB as the Hades. I don’t think the springers have the power to benefit fully what their designed to do. I tried every hunting pellet I could get my hands on. Nothing came close to the Hades.

It’s 5 days now, I’ve seen them disappear in 5 min. It’s hovering around 30 degrees, too cold to rot, no bugs. Keep this up he’ll be freeze dried. Crow
