The first few lanes, I was on fire. I was almost worried that I might be accused of cheating when they saw my score card.
But then, I started blowing it. Missed more and more, until I wasn't even hitting metal any more, much less the kill zone. They were small kill zones, so I just blamed myself. (Until I stopped hitting metal) I missed every target for the second half of my match.
I went back to the range to troubleshoot, and found that the big screw at the front of the trigger guard was loose, and also one of the stock screws. They had been loctited, too. My TX is twangy, so maybe it's buzzing them loose? I also didn't wait for the loctite time fully cure before trying it out last time. I'll try blue loctite one more timd, then it's onto red.
My fellow club members are recommending that I stop shooting heavy pellets, and detune it to 12 FPE with a Vortek kit.
I'm going to try blue loctite, with the proper setting interval this time, and if that doesn't work....I don't know what.
