I have only had my tx200 about 5months and all I changed was the spring to a Macarri spring and put it in a cs1000 stock. The stock made the gun so much more accurate and a sweeter shooting gun. When I was looking for a piston gun for competition everyone told me to get the tx for the simple fact of the ease of working on it and it is a breeze for me and I'm not what I would call a tinkier at all. So it's perfect for me. I have never owned a HW97 so I can't comment on their takedown but I do love my tx200. Kinda wanting a HC to play with now. Lol

I posted this so people could see what can be done if you need to. , i mean laying on a blanket with grass all around and a wooden stake in the ground and he disassembles the gun and could have replaced the spring if that was needed and then continues shooting the same group hole in the target .

Yeah it's a good video to show it can be done. I like his videos because he is pretty honest with all his rifles he shoots and even though he's a AA team shooter he is honest about all the guns. I would think the UK version of HFT would be tough and fun. I would love to see an event here in the US like that. Shooting off a peg, lots of shots off sides of trees, etc. Also, they have a 22cal division for it also. I know they don't shoot as far but the idea of getting a good 10 or 12 power scope setting up your parallax to what distance you prefer,sight in and just go shoot. Reminds me when I was a kid and just grabbing a tin of pellets and go shoot.

I have had mine a part alot in the last 2 months. Due to the rebuild and then the not fully engaging issue. I fell like I could do it on a blanket in a field. I am not sure I would pop the c-clip there without a spare.
