I eagerly await your outcome. My caution, when all else is balance, will the hamster still, leave room for the cocking lever? Orv.I'm with ya brother, I like modding my air rifles as well.

CAD works great . But the hamster is all fabricated from tubes and bolts and the flat plate on the bottom. I mounted the hamster to the trigger guard to find the location of the forward bolt hole. It lined up well .

This is the final product and I think I will like it. It will improve my off hand shooting.

I have never considered a hamster before. Just in the past couple of weeks I ran across one on Rowan’s site for the Huntsman/Revere. It caught my attention. Now I keep running into hamsters for rifles all the time! Ha ha! Funny how things happen like that. Get a new car and then it seems that the same car is being driven by every one else on the road.

I have made a couple hamsters before and they did not really work . This is from Rowan and I expected them to make a quality product and it is. I normally shoot this rifle from a seated bag and the hold is sensitive. But I think with this it will be easy to get the same hold every time and keep bone on bone all the way to the ground. I have had a major shoulder rebuild and I’m not as flexible as I was before . This should help.

Today I set the hamster on a sandbag. Only 13 yards but I wanted to see how consistent it was shot to shot sitting on the hamster. It drilled a single hole. I am going to set up and shoot from my bag tomorrows.
