The MK1 has an 84mm stroke
The MK3 has a 98mm stroke
Both have 25mm diameter pistons
The MK1 is a better shooting gun in every way and has a much nicer shot cycle, but doesn't have the same max power potential as the MK3
Keep the MK1.

I bought my MK1 used. It had a Tony Leach kit in it. When I received it, the kit was one of his earlier kit, confirmed by Tony Leach. In the picture attached, is the new stainless latch rod and head comparison. The older brass head is shorter than the newer stainless head. My question is comparing the two, would the older brass head, with the shorter head, have a longer lock time due to traveling farther? Thanks. Don

Would need to consider piston weight and pre load in the equation too fella, phosphor bronze is pretty dense so it may be heavier than the stainless?
