Air Arms TX200 MkIII FAC Plus at 50-Feet

I know the thing is to set up the TX200 to run sub 12lbs for accuracy. It is just not my thing. I have this one set up with an FAC spring, and an additional 3mm spacer. It is running about 790fps (edited) with AA 10.3s. I usually shoot at 50-yards. In the "winter" I move more indoors and shoot from 50-feet. It typically dos ok there as well. The shot cycle seems nice to me.

I just rebuilt it. It has about 500 rounds through it now. It has just settled in after the rebuild. It has new seals, FAC spring and a 3mm spacer. You are right though, that should be 790 fps. I looked at the wrong screen. The chrono is an an inexpensive china thing so perhaps that is a little off as well.

Sorry it is really about 14.5fpe. I was looking an an old sheet before the rebuild.

Yes, there is a lot on running them there. I just wanted to put some info out about running FAC levels as well.

I have three TX200s. (I bought only two. My partner in Kansas had a cocking shoe break and he didn’t know to replace it so he gave the rifle to me. It is walnut and is TX#3.)
Two (1+3) shoot at 13.5fpe with the AA factory rebuild kit bought from PA.
The other one shoots at 16.5.
All three are .177 shooting 8.64gr H&N FTT 4.52mm.
I am going to put a 12fpe spring in one of the 13.5 guns and use it for offhand silly wet.
When all of my 8.64s are used up I will convert to 8.44..

Actually with the Vortek 12fb spring I put in last week I am getting 760 with no spacer and 10.3 AA. Yesterday the spring must have got setteled in as all of a sudden it started feeling really smooth and was shooting small groups at 20 meters.
