TX200 MKIII - Motorhead tuned (continued)

A few weeks ago, I posted about the very positive tuning experience utilizing Scott Schneider and Motorhead Airgun Tuning Services.

Work and competitive sporting clays season has reduced my air rifle shooting time as of late. However, my wife stepped out for few minutes this evening so I went down to the range, shooting the 10 shot group found in the accompanying photo, including the first shot out of the rifle.

This group was shot on my indoor range at 18 yards with the AA Diablo Field 8.4 Gr, 4.52 diameter pellets, not sorted for weight and straight from the tin at random.

Last Sunday evening, with perfect lighting and wind conditions, I did shoot 20+ spinner targets out to 53 yards with this rifle with only one miss.

Scott really made a great improvement with this rifle.

I really want some guns tuned by Scott. I’ve owned a lot of tuned spring guns. I happen to use John Thomas all the time because he’s great, in my State, and part of what got me into higher end guns. I met him through family relations so it was a lucky cosmic collision.

Scott is a humble genius with machinists skills & an engineering mind. Awesome group shot by you & work by Scott. I’m gonna have to get a spring gun & PCP tuned up highly by him. I’m a collector of famously tuned guns. My thing is the tuners & skills themselves as much as the gun.

Hey I have a bunch of AA 8.44 if you’d like to test any 5.50-5.51 head size ones. You can have 2 full tins to try if yours are seating tight. I see a HUGE elevation gain with these.
