Well done Lewis. Do you know how many pellets it used to this failure? Just interested.

Sorry, I have no idea. I bought it used and I didn't get around to scoping or shooting it for over a year. Ti looks as if it may have been deiseled in the past. The seal was very crumbly but the gun looks like it hasn't been shot much at all. zero internal wear at all. The Vortek kit is great. The next time I have it apart I am tempted to insert one or more of the washers to bring the power up a bit, but it is so smooth now.

Thanks for that, the seal looked in very poor condition. Smoothness and accuracy verses power.......hmmm I’d go for the smoothness and accuracy every time. But having said that maybe one washer wouldn’t hurt. Let us know of the outcome if you increase the weight.
