Other Tyrol air rifle

Would love to see some pics. Not sure what you mean by "doing it up," but that is a valuable and collectible piece worthy of preservation. I doubt seriously you will find parts for it.

The "Blue Book of Airguns" will have some info on it.

Blue Book shows $100 for 100% Tyrol 51 (no mention of 951)

What I could find in the Bluebook. Not much but there and mention of a 51, but no pic of it. You'll at least have a little history and as Mike said, likely impossible to find parts unless you can find someone that could custom make whatever you might need.

I'm not interested in the value of the gun, just hate seeing old guns die
It still shoots, very slow I must admit, piston needs a new seal and the spring has lost most of its tension.
Being a 1" bore a seal should be easy to find from a gamo or something and I am sure I can cut down a spring to fit.
Thinking about giving the wood a light sand and some oil and give the rest a good clean and oil and that will do it.
