It is my FT gun. Was zeroing the scopeI am sure its an accurate airgun, but for benchshooting as only function. For woodswalking?....nope!. Here would other designs serve both aspects.
That's the way I feel. Function way over form! A airgun can be the most beautiful looking gun but if can't shoot worth a dang it's not worth a dang except to be a wall decoration. My FX, .22 Bobcat is as aesthetically unpleasant as they come but its accuracy & repeatability is a thing of absolute BEAUTY! It's nice to have "pretty" guns but if they can't deliver in the accuracy department what does it matter? I'd rather have the beauty of dependability & function over looks any day & couldn't care less if someone else might "gag" at my gun's appearance
I do not believe what you have described, people taking personal offense, happens.Recently I heard an interview with a maternity ward nurse. Where she said that most of the time when the babies “are” cute. They say “what a cute baby”. But when the babies “aren’t” cute? They say “oh, she/he looks just like you!” (the parents). This made me chuckle, well really LOL. I don’t know anyone who would call a baby ugly to a parents face. In the context of airguns we know what can happen if you even mildly criticized someone’s rig. Or don’t like some attribute and voice it. Some shooters take personal offense, like you called their babies ugly. And it might start a negative “back and forth”. But rigs aren’t babies and we ought to be able to say if we find a rig or gun to be unappealing for whatever reasons. Most shooters will adapt somewhat to “their” chosen platforms. So in the end, for me, as it applies to PCPs? All personal preferences are valid, even those based on a perception.
Grimm. It’s a hydro dip of the Grim Reaper pattern in black and silver.Yes I agree. What camo is that ?
