Part 1 will have results and part 2 will be photos.
I usually compile the data into a big table. It's also rather common for me to get requests for photos of score cards. Soooo, I'm going to just share the score cards. They have the equipment lists and hit and miss info.
We had great weather, slightly overcast, short sleeve weather, very little wind. It was a very welcome relief from the -7 nights and highs in the teens I've been having up here in the high country of Arizona.
This was the course of fire....Some pretty dang tough shots in there. For example, 3/8" kill zone at 20 yards?!?! That particular target would be a Troyer Factor 53.3 on the classic kill distance divided by kill zone basic formula. Ultimate? Certainly.
There are two basic cut-offs for power levels at these UFT matches, if someone is under 50fpe, they can shoot at all three targets (72 shot match) called 'the Full Monty." And if they're 50-100fpe, they shoot at the middle and far targets. Match staff chronographed everyone wanting to shoot in < 50fpe classes. And this is how that shook out...
Barbara P 49.32 fpe
Anthony T 46.45 fpe
Jesse A 43.59 fpe
Stephen K 42.12 fpe
Paul W 41.14 fpe
Bobby C 38.2 fpe
Steve M 38.2 fpe
Luis G 37.05 fpe
Cole R 34.84 fpe
Ben S 33 fpe
Cabe R 19 fpe
Sub 50 fpe, Pellet Class
There were 9 competitors in this class. Congrats to Barbara P (@5Power) for winning this class and also being the overall match high.
Top three scores here were:
Barb P 66/72
Van T 56/72
Anthony T 56/72
And the score cards for those sub 50fpe pellet class shooters, in order of score:
Sub 50fpe, Slug Class
There were three competitors in this class. Bobby and Steve ended up sharing a gun, so that made the strange situation of all three competitors in this class using the NSA .20/18.9grain slug.
Scores here were:
Cole R 62/72
Bobby C 59/72
Steve M 53/72
And those score cards:
Sub 100fpe, Pellet Class
Also three competitors in this class.
Tony P 33/48
Daniel P 27/48
Carl F 17/48
And those score cards:
Near and Middle Targets, Pellet Class
Just one competitor here. My son Cabe used his sub 20fpe .177 to shoot a 48 shot match. It worked out really well because this is the gun he has the most trigger time on, and it's simply set up for his (just turned) 7 year old frame.
Cabe 13/48
And his score card:
Thanks to Jesse A for the superb paint job on the targets. Me and Cabe really enjoyed looking at them through the scope.
Thanks to Ben and Tony P for setting up the course-lots of work.
Thanks to Stephen K for assisting in chrono and sign-in duties.
I'm sure there was other assistance to make it all run smoothly. Thank you!!!
Thanks to Peykan for letting my son check out the Cybertruck so closely. Made my little dudes day to get a ride and learn about all the cool stuff it could do.
Thanks to everyone for just generally being good people. Me and Cabe had a great time amongst you all. Good solid fun with a great bunch of people. It was a great Saturday activity and fully worth the 6hr round trip.
Feel free to add any vids or photos that you took during the match. Also, questions and comments are invited, from those that competed yesterday, as well as anybody interested in what we're doing here.
