Ultimate squirrel rifle setup(PCP/piston)

My backyard pester PP750 22 cal. with Crosman 14.3 domes, many rabbits and tree rats. This one yesterday standing in front of my backstop 30 yard shot only for backyard use. I love the carbine but hate the scope, need too get of my butt and find another.

what's wrong with the scope...also love that stock!
The cross hairs are to thick as I prefer thin. As far as the stock the cheek rest was made out of a fir 2x4 and the rest out of a aluminum sheet. Jig saw to cut the strips, then formed, drilled and tapped for stainless screws. Would of come out nicer if I had a tig welder. The hardest part was drilling the cheek rest. Thanks for the compliment.

You could use hammer in rivets in the aluminum. Flush or regular would look sweet a be solid also.

I've had a lot of experience with hammered rivets back in the early 70's, the old days. Thought about going back to my old shop and using the automated plasma torch but have not been back since 2006 when I retired. The way it is screwed together it is very solid, it is even screwed too the pistol grip.

My favorite currently is my Veteran 1 standard in .25 shooting Hades at 890 sighted in at 40 yards. The anti double feed is so nice on these guns, you can cock and decock all day long and never double load, a real handy feature while woods walking. I never use the safety on my PCPs, I’ll either decock or shoot so if the target eludes me I can just decock.

same here, I have an Arken scope I love on my Vulcan that has a fine reticle but a cheaper one on my Notos I have to replace, the reticle is too thick. Cover's up a 1" circle at 50yards
