Hey @RM.510bigbore, do you have time to answer some of this fella’s questions about the Air Saber?

A regular Airsaber is very accurate powerful and easy to handle..You cant use the Umarex Arrows is its only fault....They fail...Use Easton 2219 XX75 22 inch aluminum crossbow bolts..With these Eastons and 100 grain tip at 474 grains at 405 fps.. Using a crossbow scope with holdover to 120 yards it is accurate.. It is very accurate in 20-70 yard hunting ranges..With Easton 2219s at 405 fps you can use regular crossbow tragets that dont break the bank.. Here to help if you need anything...Reed

Thank you I didn't know that about the arrows that would save some money, What's your thought on a compressor get the Umarex brand or will an Amazon one be good enough?
For the money i would go with a GX brand compressor....I just bought a GX CS-4 and im happy with it ..The smaller cheaper GX pcp compressor will good for your use.. The Easton arrows are more durable and more accurate...The Umarex arrows will seperate where the carbon fiber and aluminum are glued together.. The Eastons are all aluminum one piece,,,they never fail....I can get 3-5inch goups at 120 yards with Eastons Umarex Airsaber and a UTG 130 bdx crossbow scope...I shoot it long range for fun usually tether to a external regulator at 3400 psi for extreme accuracy and consistenty.. My Airsaber was $230.00 on clearance at midway..It will shoot with any Ravin or Ten Point crossbow made..The Airsaber is much more reliable than crossbows,,no stupid limbs to break..

Arrows and Big Bores aren't my thing but can share about compressors. Heat is main enemy of compressors, those dealing with it multiple ways are best. GX-CS series offer reduced gearing for slower, less heat generation combined with high-speed fans. The GX-CS4 adds internal water cooling. The Yong Heng, though not portable like GX-CS, uses water, crankcase oil and fan for cooling. Owners often add ice to water and external fans. Avoid high-geared rectangular box, multi-power, oil-less, waterless, high-speed fan only cooled compressors, they've a limited life with low rebuilding success. WM

Search "Yong Heng," "GX-CS Series," in archives for more information. 3.5 years with $272 Yong Heng, did replace leaky gauge and water pump. Pump my fault for pulling on wires removing from water bucket, new one $11. Again, not portable but easily fills SCBA tank for away missions. WM
