Sorry it took so long for the update. They sent a good airgun to replace the defective one. They also sent extra pellets and a pair of safety glasses that I did not order. I'm a happy camper!
Today, I think I nicked a house sparrow. It flew sideways towards the neighbors garage instead of upwards. I couldn't see where he went after that. I'm such an amateur at shooting but getting closer to the target as I still adjust the rear sight. I think I'm too anxious when I aim, when I should be more patient for a truer shot, or so I've read. We've had bad weather for the last week but today was calm enough for shooting. So far, the sparrows haven't returned, but they will. It's nice to see the rest of the native birds eating calmly at the feeders instead of being harassed by those invasive birds!
