So after having several failures to puncture the bottom co2 cartridge and going through several forums I came across a solution to the rifle not liking Crossman. CO2 cartridges which is all I came find around where I live. Found a suggestion on the pyramid Air forum to place a dime between the 2 . 12 gram CO2’s tried it today and voila both cartridges puncture tried this several times with no more issues so try this if your having the same issue with yours

That’s a common issue with some of the umarex CO2 guns.I had one that that wouldn’t even help. So I was able to sharpen the point in the piercing cap.

That one would be Hard to sharpen.But I actually put two dimes in mine and still wouldn’t Pierce.So I called Umarex And they sent me a new one But while I was waiting on it I tried sharpening the original one and it worked.So I just keep the new one for a spare now.But I bought my gun refurbished and they didn’t ask no questions and went ahead and sent me the part. But at least you got yours working. I have a Crosman Also that takes two cartridges but side-by-side and it used to work fine but now it only pierces one. So now I have to see how I can fix that one.
