Umarex Gauntlet .25: Complete review (Video)

Well, my friends here we are once again, as we look into the face of a familiar friend. You know the friend I am talking about, the friend that you have known for a long long time who asks for advice and never follows it, the one that asks 20 questions but only listens to 10 of your answers. The one that could so easily change just a few things and be on top of the world…. Yup……. that friend.

Today I offer my review of an old friend who went to the gym but only applied 10 of the 20 answers I gave him over a year ago. Today I run the Umarex Gauntlet in .25 Caliber through its paces. Typically I will rip a rifle apart and give you the ……..wait for it……….. inside scoop, but this time I want to review the rifle for what it does out of the box first. I will make follow up videos that offer complete tear downs and detailed information to assist a potential buyer what is under the hood.

Please remember, I do not get paid to make these videos, your comments and feedback are my compensation, please be generous!

Thanks for the video. I can honestly see one of these in my future.

Being that I Really enjoy seeing what can be wrung out of these lower cost platforms, experimentation is something I Gladly undertake...just adds to the fun! (For me,anyway.)

From what I have gleaned so far,I see a rifle that boldly states "Potential"!

Thanks Again,Haj.

Mike.

@Glem.Chally - Thank you and I agree, for the money, there is huge value here.

@Saltlake58 - Thanks, yeah sorry about that, I was waiting for more ammo to arrive but my packages were held hostage by the USPS processing system! Grrrrr

@MScottLeeman - Thank you, I am 100% in agreement with your tact on this. The potential is what drives me. My obsession may not always align or fulfill the curiosity of all viewers but the intent was never really to tutor or instruct but to share and be a part of the collective. I hope my sharing spurs you to share your findings as well. I look forward to what “potential” you realize from the rifle.

@blackdiesel – Thanks man, Stuff that comes standard that was once only realized in a custom shop. Growing fast and in some cases too fast. So fast that QC is lacking.

@CampFussell – I appreciate the recognition bud. You are very welcome!

I think it's a game changer rig in .25. , all the bells & whistles for less than the cost of three top end air rifle clips even lower than a remain .25 marauder which cant hold a candle to the Gauntlet.

Personally never had issue with the 11mm barrels on the Titan/Falcon line- they did have a ridged barrel band tho-. For those looking to mod "mackeral5" seems to have his purring right along:

Still love my .177 Gauntlet in a QB stock but now need a ,25 enough that I may trade down ( have a few rigs that never get fired) and get one. Clip the hammer spring, line up TP and adjust trigger and it should be the very best $ for $ pre-charged .25 around.
