The Gauntlet .30 now sports a side lever, a most welcomed improvement I'm sure.

While looking into the SL30 I found an SL25 manual but haven't seen any other info on it. Seems Umarex has release the info on the SL30 but holding off on the yet to be released SL22 and SL25.

I love my gen 1, but I have to agree that it is long and heavy. My first thought on seeing this was, ' huh, Umerex did it for the Gauntlet, why hasn't the Marauder gotten one too?'

Another thought is why go half way? Other manufactures have designed versions that you can switch from right to left handed, so why only go half way with right hand only?

Think it's carry-over from a decade old technology. Benjamin Marauder started the ball rolling around 2009 with long, heavy, bolt-action and dovetail scope rails. Gauntlet, out around 2017, factory regulated, synthetic stock but still incorporating the rest, shed "dovetails" in Second Generation, now has shed bolt-action. WM

Crosman should be embarrassed. Whether it’ll change anything or not I kind of have my doubts. Crosman corporate decision makers seem to be determined to keep any more creativity, innovation or advancement of their products at bay.

Exactly. Way more expensive than the original and G2, with very little improvement. I think I shall retire my Gauntlet and move on to guns that are smaller, lighter, and have more desirable features. At least until Umarex catches up with the rest of the industry.

I don't know what they will actually sell for but the msrp is too high for a gauntlet. I feel like $350 is pushing it for the quality. Too long and front heavy and the maching isn't very good.
