Having a 2nd arrow ready to fire without reloading could be a great advantage in some scenarios. Excalibur's TwinStrike dual crossbow is the only other dedicated 2-shot arrow launcher I can think of offhand, though a person could fire 2 airgun arrows from a Senena double barrel .50 air rifle. The Air Saber isn't especially heavy <9lbs but I'd still prefer a smaller 2-shot carbine with a few adjustable power settings. Something more the size of the Air Javelin but adjustable to 75/100/125fpe range so I wouldn't lose or ruin so many expensive arrows.

The 1st arrow I shot out of my Air Saber was lost and the 2nd one broke on removal. Just adding a 1/2 power setting for practice shots would eliminate some of that expense. I bolted a couple of Air Javelin's together recently after converting them to run on air and made them into a double-barrel arrow shooter. It worked OK but was unnecessarily bulky since it used 2 separate Javelins, one of them with all of its rear stock removed behind its trigger guard. A purpose designed 2-arrow rifle like the Elite X2 eliminates that powerplant duplication to keep the weight down. I'd be curious how it would compare for performance in a direct match up with a double shot .50 air rifle shooting Air Venturi Airbolts

Just shows that the manufactures keep coming up with new products every year which I'd like to try.

I realize this is not many peoples priority, but seriously, did they research how to make this as ugly as possible? At first I was thinking, one could always make a new stock, but then I notice that abomination of "barrels" . Let's make it puke green to round it all up

Ah well.



P.S. This idea has been available in the Air Venturi/Seneca/samyang DoubleShot for quite some time. ( and that one just looks like any decent double barrel.)

No new ground here. I assume this one will have more power. It has to have something to overcome it's homeliness.

I don't know what the heck I'd need/use it for, but the idea sure is intriguing! The advertised MSRP is about $400 less than the Seneca Double Shot, so actual street price may be even less. It would be nice to see an actual comparison of how it performs compared to the Double Shot.

Ah, i did not see the price. That's a lot of savings for what might also be a better performing arrow launcher. Add in the fact tat the Seneca .50 air bolts have been unobtaineum for over a year...

My 77 yr old father purchased the Air Saber for Christmas to hunt deer in Louisiana. He hasn’t killed anything yet but enjoys shooting it.

Why hasn’t a U-tuber tested the good brands against each other?? I am only interested in the full size arrow launchers. The crossbow size bolts don’t have the knockdown power of the full size archery arrows. With this in mind some of us serious archery aficionados definitely want to make our own arrows including fletching. I don’t own a bow with less than 3 dozen arrows custom made for the job at hand. When my Hoyt is adjusted from 45 lb pull to 80lb the arrow spine and weight are not the same. How good are the triggers on the current airguns?? Can one be had like a Taipan, FX, or AGT? Where are the actual accuracy results from 50 to 100 yds?

Gman; I live in Kansas City and the way I read it you can only use them during the regular gun or alternative season not during the bow season. But I could be wrong I'll have to write myself a note to call our game warden Monday and ask him. I've been aiming to do that because I have a Benjamin AirBow.
