Pyramyd marked down the price of wood stocked M1 Carbines $120 and I couldn’t resist and ordered one a week ago.
I just got a chance to shoot it today and am pretty impressed overall, but there’s one thing about it that just niggles me and that’s the rear sight. It looks correct, but it doesn’t adjust for elevation. I can’t see how they could have gotten such an easy feature wrong. Crosman loves cutting costs anywhere they can, but on their M1 they managed to get it right.
I know there’s a ton of M1 carbine parts out there and I’m wondering if there’s a replacement that fits. On a gun like this I just like to have it as close to the real thing as possible.
