Tuning Umarex Notos has arrived.

Got mine sighted in this past weekend. The Hades are going around 740fps for me. For the money, it's pretty spot on at 20y (setting up for short range pest popping). Going to try to throw some jsb 13gr down it to test as well.

Fixed the mag, and did the same thing as @pnwairgunner - lubed and backed the screw out about a quarter turn. Doesn't seem to catch any longer on itself.

Overall, a great little compact for the money.

I need to try the Hades too. I found an old tin of 14gr Corpsman domes last night in a drawer that I can try next weekend. I’ve never had a pellet gun they did well in, maybe this one will be it.

Seems like this is turning out to be a winner. A just under 20fpe pistol/carbine under $300 with decent accuracy. Must be popular as it appears to be pre-order everywhere in the US at this point. Going to keep watching the progress on this one.

Just noticed pistol grips are available for $10 at Pyramyd. Not sure if this was already mentioned.

I did but ignored . Ya accessories are priced nice. Mag $19, sight kit $10, tray, $6, grips $10.. at that may as well get it all for a complete get up..

If selling out and being popular lets see if theres s big price increase next..

Here’s the results at 13 yards shooting 18.52 H + N 3500 psi fill roughly and 4 mags, I love shooting this gun! It’s sleek and feels nice to shoulder even with the atn on top it’s still light. Great little pester can’t wait to test it out further!

What about the weight? I asked this but did not see a answer. Its listed at 6 pounds... Maybe like the underrated fps that's overated to.. 6 seems a bit much but what do i know? ( Weight with and without stock attachment). Of you got a scale to check that it be nice to know real life.

There you go MoRon. Weight is 5.1 pounds. With a Bugbuster scope and quick detach rings attached.

This is just for S and G’s but I tried Griffin .217 18 gr slugs and they loaded so easily like there was no friction going in to the barrel I figured they would not do good (not a good seal) maybe.218 in my barrel would do better and I know slugs like speed this was just a test. I unfortunately don’t have a scale but I would guess with the ATN on top I would say maybe 7lbs roughly is the weight.

I have some .218s but I was afraid of heavier stuff possibly clipping in the moderator. It sure didn’t like the .217s at all. But the H&Ns you tried did nicely.
I’m at work all week so I can’t play with mine til Friday. Ugh. That’s the worst isn’t it? Getting a new toy and not being able to play with it hahaha.

Well thats better then find its a lemon or broken and it's due to rma hassle.. thats how it works out for me ..🥺

The notos is probably the most exciting new budget gun since the avenger. Might get itchy fingers when the 177 is out, is it me or is it kinda long from pictures and videos?
Qball it is so slim and lightweight, super fast to shoulder. When you’ve got it in hand it’s not long at all, unless you think it should be a pistol, which I personally I think all pcp pistols are absurdly un-handy and bulky and awkward. (Have not tried the Ataman pistols yet but they might be an exception.)

Just got mine. Would it be recommended to use offset scope mount for this to get the eye relief or distance more optimal? It’s my first air rifle for pesting and wanted to throw a Hawke 3-9x40 or 50mm on it and was wondering if I should do offset vs standard.

TIA
If you put a 50mm objective lens on it you’ll definitely want to get high mounts. I put a 6.5x20x42 scope on mine initially to shoot some groups with but it seemed to really take away from the handiness of the little gun. Don’t overlook the Bugbuster as an option for pesting. It’s compact and it matches up well with the Notos.

Ataman is definitely an exception, this thing is very similar to my old PP750 except a little longer. Unfortunately it's about the same length and only slightly lighter than my Dream-Tac Compact, with a small 3x prism scope I can get my DTC down under 6lbs also. Still a very interesting and affordable carbine especially with a folding adapter and shorter moderator, will see how I feel when the 177 version comes out. Thanks to my DTC I haven't even shot my 1720T carbine(about same size and weight) hardly at all.
