Inside 35 yards or so, mine is as accurate as any gun. Out to 60, it's maybe 1 -1/14 inch 5 shot groups. Definitely acceptable for it's purpose.

For the price looks like a decent starter option for a kid without breaking the bank. I’m sure it won’t take long for him to either fall in love or decide it’s not for him. I just want him out of the house and off of electronics as much as possible.

I wish that I was able to do that. The lever is steel, it's a compound forged assembly and not made from a sheet that can be simply stamped and drilled.
Titanium would be the best material by far but the price would easily eclipse the price of the Notos itself.
Aluminum would not hold up with that long and skinny arm, a cast arm would not bend but is much to fragile for that skinny of an arm.
If you have an idea, please share it, anything that could help our little community.

I have not studied the lever and dont have it in front of me now to comment on it but i would have just assumed it would be a simple part to machine with a mill, with a slightly different geometry to accommodate the attachment point for the vertical grip like other side levers are made.

I saw these on eBay. Made for Air Arms PCP's but maybe it can be adapted to attach to the Notos charge lever with some screws from behind the lever.

Seems like someone had tuned theirs down to 500-ish fps on here not too long ago.
Using a combination of regulator adjustment and a lighter hammer spring, you would imagine that a person could get as slow as they wanted with it, although accuracy is possibly going to suffer greatly at some point.

Thanks, I just really wanted a ballpark of what it could do before I bought it.
Im only shooting from around 20 feet away so Im not TOO worried about accuracy suffering a bit. I would tune it back up when I go out to hunt/target shoot

Have you checked out the Webley Nemesis? It’s a lower powered airgun and in the same ballpark as far as price goes. They say it makes 550fps straight out of the box.

I did see some weaker ones. I dont really like the bottle in the stock look though. And the only other ones I liked were like 3x the price!
Ideally I would also use it to hunt squirrels when i go camping. 550fps top on that one seems a bit weak for that

By adjusting the regulator to 100bar and trimming about 3 coils off the HS, mine is shooting JSB 15.89 (which it likes) @ 640~680 fps, depending on the HS screw adj.
At 640 fps, it's getting 54 shots on a 250bar fill. I'm happy with that.
