Umarex Notos video link

This is the first hands-on review I’ve seen of the Notos, which gives me hope that it will actually start shipping soon. I’ve had the Notos on pre-order since May. I took advantage of some promotional sale thing that Pyamyd was doing on Umarex branded items which brought the price down too cheap to pass up.
The accuracy seems more than a little lacking with the Notos in this video, but the pellet selection was sparse as well. Hopefully I can find pellets that it likes a bit better.
Ugh…now I’m hoping I’ve not been on a wait list all this time for what turns out to be a turd. I’d like to think 25 yard groups would be a lot better than this video illustrates. We bought a house with a creek that flows along the front of the yard and it is a major breeding ground for copperhead snakes, so my main intended use for this was going to be a snake shooting rifle and you don’t get more than one chance at a snake if you miss.

I kinda like them 2 off apperance , but i kinda wish they'd sell them as a pistol with the carbine stock add on in the box.

That umarex started as just a pistol i think then they out of the blue made it carbine then no pistol grip option?

Anyway had somthing i was intrested in then blew it .

Hatsan did kinda that with the model 25 to that deal. + That cheesie QE over a normal stright steel barrel that the original had. Its almost like there trying not to sell me somthing...lol

That jet comes convertible . Pistol with quick attach carbine stock. ( What umarex should do)

Jet 1 40cc tube,. Jet2 80cc.

Now i got to wonder if hatsan made the bottle/ tubes not interchangeable ..lol. looking at reviews the shot/ power drops fast, maybe too fast 🤔... Non-adjustable trigger? Really? Wow. Little beman or bandit looking a wee bit better.

"How many sets of sights would you like?"

Jet: "Yes"
Seems one set for pistol ise another for carbine.. then ot like them sights on a militry assault rifle ( pray and spray style). Like i say they almost make nice stuff but go out of there way to blow it some how. At least hatsan gives you choice of grip/ stock in the box . Not wishing it was.

I've had 3 hatsan and they were all air hogs and cliff divers out of the box. A little tuning and they can be nice. They're just mostly plastic and odd looking. Magazines are weird but work flawlessly, even if it wobbles around in the breech lol. Hate to say it, but they do make pretty accurate barrels and typically make good power.

I'm interested in the Jet, but waiting for more guinea pigs to do reviews before I get one. Need to know if they are tunable for better shot count and obviously power. The non adjustable trigger is fine since I look at this as a under 30 yard truck gun. The non threaded muzzle is a killer though.

Lol.. i think thats the on going trend . Take simple wood and steel and make some wayout space age looking impractical plastic thing that only works 1/2 as well and charge you more for it.😂

I like to see a tuned one . Any improvment just helps it out and for the price it not that bad to start.

Thing is with hatsan they only make 2 guns. A good one your satisfied with or one your not. .. hatsan been a 50/50 deal for me .. also that no adjustable trigger got me baffled. Not that i really like the quattro but somthing maybe better then nothing.

Another thing was the jets aint even listed at hatsan usa but in stock at shops?

I've had good luck with every hatsan I have owned. These Jets aren't THAT bad looking compared to hatsan rifles.

Their plastic is actually pretty durable and the whole gun is made out of it. Keeps the weight down for sure.

By the shot strings I've seen, they are typical "hatsan" hot tuned. They crank the springs up at the factory I guess. My 25 hydra and 25 vectis came screaming out of the box and could only get about 15 shots before it had dropped like a rock.

Me personally, if the Jet isn't adjustable, I would slowly over fill the gun til I got a curve. If it blows up, it's only a Hatsan!

Ya adjustable i yet to see in any review or specs. Trigger, spring , nutten.. as is . A shame cause it is interesting at first glance.

Well matbe umarex gets smart and give you the notes with both pistol grip and carbine stock in the box. Lol

These guys claim it's in stock as the pistol ..

Almost seems suspect ...🤔

Looking .. wow umatex got ya.

You buy the carbine, then you buy the sights extra $13 then you buy the pistol grips extra $9 . ( Im surprised just $9 not like $20). Still should be all in the box imho.

Atleast you can nickle and dime buy it to what you want or need...lol ( that still beats not being able to..😉). I do still like it even if just .22.

I just need some enduser personal reviews to get off some fencing on what way to go..

P.s... the sights are 10$ at umarex... You save 2 bucks👍

Good deal....

So i guess you will post a good user review on it ? Cant wait to see it.

Also is it a carbine or pistol grip?

Personally i think choice should be in the box for you to set up as you want or swap as needed .. i guess thats too much to ask from them..lol
Of course I'll post up! Should be here tomorrow if ups pulls through. I didn't see the pistol grip and sights when I pre-ordered.

The sights I can do without or print myself. And same for the grip. I'd probably print a replacement grip to convert to pistol.
