Umarex Notos video link

Of course I'll post up! Should be here tomorrow if ups pulls through. I didn't see the pistol grip and sights when I pre-ordered.

The sights I can do without or print myself. And same for the grip. I'd probably print a replacement grip to convert to pistol.
Ya, i dont think they were offered under the preorder time , i did not see them till i looked today.

Also for 20 bucks or so for grips and sights aint bad to just drop in the cart ready to go.. just dont get why umarex did not make it all a package deal all in the box. That would make it a gar better selling point , but at least the add ons are affordable even at front and rear sight at PA's (air gun depot / PA #2 copy& paste site) higher $12 and 10 for the grips is a bargain . Hopefully they will keep treating that nice for a guy buying that as a carbine..

They say its regulator is set for 1300 so i got to wonder if its fixed or somthing to adjust.

I don’t know that i would want sights on it anyway. And being able to pick and choose components seems like a plus to me. No need to buy a higher priced set if you won’t be using the other stuff. I would literally never see myself preferring to use it as a giant unwieldy pistol over a super short carbine.
My Notos should be here today according to the tracking number. UPS usually runs late in the evening here so I’m hoping that I’ll at least get to check some chrony numbers with 18gr JSB’s before it gets dark. Tomorrow I can throw a Bugbuster scope on it.

Kinda hard to judge the size.. i eas thinking smaller then that benji mrod pistol ? Maybe more in line with a pp750? ( My thinking).

Anyway youll be soon finding out.. i prefer iron sight over optics on my stuff anyway so being able to have that is a big plus for me. ( And look descent vs most lol). That rail front sight is one a guy can drift to help split the click difference of the rear adjustment.. ( seems like it should).

Anyway your report will be interesting..

Well, it’s arrived! And for some reason my owners manual has a big piece torn off.

I have had trouble with the magazine not loading pellets smoothly, especially on the first shot each time the magazine is inserted. So far I’ve put 5 magazines through it and have had rough loading throughout. Hopefully this is an issue that some more use will smooth out.
The regulator is trying hard to hang in there steadily at 701 fps with the 18.1gr FX pellets. Although it does start dropping off before the end of the third magazine.

Your post on this gun i said the fps with that 18 grain pellet you used was better then described.. now looking at your manual it's up there even better at 780 fps. ( With lead pellet??)

"launching a 12 grain .22 caliber pellet at 700 fps.". ( From umarex) pa and there copy and paste site was somthing but a 13 grain..lol.

I like your results better then theres ..

I kinda like them 2 off apperance , but i kinda wish they'd sell them as a pistol with the carbine stock add on in the box.

That umarex started as just a pistol i think then they out of the blue made it carbine then no pistol grip option?

Anyway had somthing i was intrested in then blew it .

Hatsan did kinda that with the model 25 to that deal. + That cheesie QE over a normal stright steel barrel that the original had. Its almost like there trying not to sell me somthing...lol
the notos is available now from pyramid.. carbine only so far.. but I think it's only around $9 to get the open sights and $9 for the pistol grip . I'm planning on ordering it and getting the pistol grip and open sights.. unfortunately I can't shoot with a scope and haven't found a solution, so I don't buy anything that I can't get open sights..
I wanted a pistol and this one seems to fit the bill.. I do need to take off the moderator so it will fit in a.. well oversized holster, instead of a hogleg.. I am guessing from pictures I have seen that it almost the same gun as the pp750 except for the attached moderator and the left side cocking lever.. I will be posting more after I get it about removing the moderator.. from the pictures someone else put up they took off the barrel and shroud.. but so far no one has taken off the moderator.. so to get the barrel off they removed the top rail rear screw and under the screw is a set screw holding the barrel in.. looking at the bottom of the moderator it looks like a plug has been inserted to retain the moderator.. but I believe the plug is a cover to hide a set screw.. I will be trying this shortly.. I will assume that since the barrel is just held by a set screw the moderator is the same.. I will also try to see if I can come up with a threaded adapter to put the moderator back on so I don't have to mess with a set screw just to take the moderator on and off.. figured I'd try to convert it to 1/2x20 and the factory moderator too.. that way if anyone wants to put on a Donny FL.. it would be easy

from what I have found out.. it's the same size as the pp750.. plus the 6" moderator and the left side cocking lever..16+6=22.. I plan on getting one and finding a way to remove the moderator so I can sort of holster it.. I'll be posting back when I get it done and I hope to convert it to 1/2x20. both the factory moderator and you could then use a Donny FL if you want..

I believe that the apparent plug on the bottom of the moderator is a plug hiding a set screw since the rear rail screw has a set screw underneath it to remove the barrel..

That jet comes convertible . Pistol with quick attach carbine stock. ( What umarex should do)

Jet 1 40cc tube,. Jet2 80cc.

Now i got to wonder if hatsan made the bottle/ tubes not interchangeable ..lol. looking at reviews the shot/ power drops fast, maybe too fast 🤔... Non-adjustable trigger? Really? Wow. Little beman or bandit looking a wee bit better.
the air tank is available from umarex.. you can get a second jet 1 tank and have it pre filled for more shots in the field and you can also get the tank assembly to convert the jet 1 to a jet 2.. however the jet 1 is the only one that you can remove and install the air tank while full.
