Umarex Octane Elite .22 FULL REVIEW

Hi everyone! Aside from my self introduction, this will be my first topic.

I read the rules, and I believe I'm in accordance with them. PLEASE forgive me if I'm not!

This is my review of the Umarex Octane Elite .22. This is the review of a consumer! I AM NOT sponsored by anyone in any way!

I AM NOT so bold as to presume that my opinion is the only important one, or that any of this is the last word on anything. It's only my opinion.

I AM NOT trying to sell anything, or influence sales of anything. I am trying to share my results, opinions, and the bit of science that I know with others. 

Having said that, I CAN be rather opinionated...so please forgive my candor if it's not appreciated. I hope you find this review honest, and I hope you find it useful.

Well, THIS is the review I should have read and watched before buying the .177 version of this rifle. Thanks Donnie, I can consider my expectations reset.

For a first air rifle, to shoot rabbits, I am not sure I could have gone more wrong. A good and expensive lesson learned. Against better judgement I talked through what I needed with the local gun shop and this was the result. Never mind, the power still does impress. If I am lucky I will get accurate enough in time for next spring...

Will try a while longer, but almost considering cutting my losses and getting a .22 that I can be accurate enough with sooner. Looking at 25 yards max.
