Umarex Origin wont pump up

Got my first pcp today and I cant get the hand pump it came with to pressurize the gun.
Relief valve is closed.
The gun is unloaded, cocked and on safe.
The probe seems to be fully inserted.
The good news is that this old man is getting some exercise.

Welcome to AGN, sorry for a problem so early in the adventure. First, determine what's at fault, PCP or pump. Should have this brass plug pump tester included somewhere, just insert in end of fill whip and pump, if pressures up and holds, pump OK. Next, try to determine where air is escaping from gun, sometimes a little silicone grease on fill probe "o" rings will help. WM

Definitely check the pump first, especially if it is a pump that came with the Origin. Check valve problems were common with mine.

you can get Silicone grease from the Auto parts store or Home depot plumbing section, Hobby shop will have Silicone oil
