I've just run my first half-dozen mags through this dandy handgun. Following guidance from a YouTube reviewer I'm using steel BBs as apparently copper plated tend to jam? I dunno, but the AirVenturi 2500 pack of steel was only $10 on Amazon, so cheap insurance? FWIW I've experienced no magazine jams so far.
The toggle blowback and empty mag hold-open features add to the 'realism' of shooting this well crafted replica. The weight is within grams of a real P08 which is also nice. My sole 'con' is that cheap plastic grips feel...well.... like cheap plastic. I have some $25 walnut? ones coming from Amazon that I'll try to modify to fit the Umarex. I'm aware that considerable Dremel grinding and sanding are in my future to achieve this mod and will keep a photo diary for future posting here.
I did also pick up a cheapie $11 cleaning rod and brush kit to use on my P08 and M712. Very handy.
