Umarex Synergis

I love the looks of the new Umarex Synergis!! For me I am a .22 break barrel airgunner getting tired of loading one shot at a time. So I am excited about this rifle and I will watch the reviews and wait for the .22 version. I was on Umarex blog and found an interesting comment a will share. Curious what everyone thinks about the rifle?
"Umarex already has the World's best sub $300 PCP rifle. Now Umarex has the opportunity to make the World's best sub $300 gas piston air rifle. Add these parts to Umarex's superior multi shot repeater design will provide Gauntlet level sales. 1.) A superbly accurate barrel available from your partner Walther. 2.) A stock similar in quality and design to the CFR rifle would be amazing. 3.) A high quality Umarex's trigger. 4.) Most importantly a powerful gas piston capable of 50 yd. accuracy. So Umarex is it worth it to do it again."

Well, having a Gamo Swarm Maxxim with a ten pellet magazine and single shot break barrels, I see this both ways: first, the repeater is fun (for 10 shots) but like shooting an automatic shot gun I tend to rush my aim since I know I can (more) quickly fire again. Single shot guns always make me aim more carefully (even when I miss). However, once the magazine is empty, the reloading process is nearly as cumbersome as loading one pellet at a time in the break barrel. Of course, I solved that by buying a second magazine! Unfortunately, my first magazine started dropping pellets during cocking, causing me to fire empty (about 1 of 30 shots, or three loads). So, I retired that mag and bought my third one. (Oh, the first mag had cracked and lost a piece of plastic molding that help the pellet in place.)

So, I await the verdict, too; me, more so, because it's an under lever. Hoping to hear reports when folks start shooting it.

I'm excited about the idea of the Synergis too, but I'm the odd guy out in this one because I really don't care about the magazine loading. I just hope that being an under-lever, It should be more accurate than a cheap break barrel. What I really want is an HW97K for less than $250.

Sadly the reality is that they will put the hottest shooting gas piston with a junk barrel and we will have a shotgun pattern, just magazine fed.
