Hi, I checked the other threads but couldn’t find something about this. On my brand new UX M1 a machine gun magazine there is a pin at the top right behind where the BB eject. It seems to be sticky. Sometimes it will jam in the forward position and stop BB from being ejected into the chamber.
In looking at the schematics, I think that it is supposed to slide back-and-forth and there’s some form of spring in there to ensure that it is in the back position, allowing the next BB to be pushed forward into the breach. I suspect as the bolt comes in and strikes the back of the magazine.
Does anyone know if this is just something that can be lubricated with silicone oil or if something more significant is required?
I’m in Canada and bought it from a small retailer and so I don’t think returns are likely expectation.
I may end up ordering a second magazine just to see if this one operates better and use the other as a spare.
